Financial inclusion enables improved and better sustainable economic and social development of the country. It helps in the empowerment of the underprivileged, poor and women of the society with the mission of making them self-sufficient and well informed to take better financial decisions.The long term vision of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana(PMJDY)is to lay the foundation of a cashless economy and is complementary to Narendra Modi's Digital India Scheme. In this paper an attempt has made to understand the Awareness about the PMJDY in Himachal Pradesh, Analyze the Opinion Regarding Benefits Available under PMJDY & find out the problems faced by the beneficiaries.
